The law serves to implement Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 14, 2023 on machinery.
Machinery Regulation Implementation Act (MaschinenDG) [in German]

It includes, among other things, regulations on the language of the instructions, the information, the EU declaration of conformity and the EU declaration of incorporation, the notification of conformity assessment bodies and information in the event of non-conformity of a machine.
