Research Projects

In the research projects conducted by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA), its scientists work on topical scientific issues and translate their findings into targeted solutions for the world of work. The structure of the strategic fields of action described in BAuA’s Work and Research Programme offers a common framework for these activities. At the same time, it encourages our researchers to pay attention to relevant, new issues in the fields of action and address them promptly.

The overview provided here highlights the topics that are currently shaping BAuA’s work and how concrete recommendations for action to enhance safety and health in the workplace are generated from the Federal Institute’s research projects.
