REACH and Occupational Safety

The REACH Regulation not only addresses the manufacturers and distributors of chemicals, it also addresses all employees who come into contact with such substances as part of their work. Find out about the impact of the REACH Regulation on occupational safety on this page.

As an Assessment Unit for Health and Safety in the scope of the REACH Regulation (in short an "REACH Assessment Unit OSH"), we carry out statutory tasks and provide you with advice on occupational safety during the handling of chemicals.

Several questions on the REACH Regulation are answered in a publication by the AGS (BekGS 409). This can assist you with the application of the REACH Regulation at the practical level. Under "Publications and documents", we have also provided the explanations on air limit values at the workplace.
