The safe filling of organic liquids

Stationary filling of organic liquids in drums and IBC on powered roller conveyor (SLF 212a)

The containers to be filled are transported to the filling area on a roller conveyor. The fill volume is set on the filling system. After the container has been put in place and positioned correctly, the filling process is begun. In the case of an incorrect or defective suction, vapours are released which then enter the working area; with the correctly positioned and functional suction, they are adequately captured. After the filling, the filling lance is withdrawn and with the suction activated, it drains off above the opening of the container. The containers are then sealed with the appropriate equipment so that they are suitable for transport, and leave the filling area on the roller conveyor.
