Job-Exposure-Matrix (JEM) based on the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2024 - Re-estimation of BAuA's JEM based on the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey from 2018

(in German)

Based on data of BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2024, the existing Job-Exposure-Matrix (JEM) on occupation-specific working conditions has been re-estimated. Workload values were recalculated, while the item base, methodology and structure of indicators remain largely unchanged to ensure a high degree of comparability with the JEM based on the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2018.

The JEM assigns job exposures to occupations across five categories of working conditions (physical and environmental work requirements, work intensity, working hours as well as autonomy) and is provided for the International Standard Classification of Occupations 2008 (ISCO 2008).
