as of: 12.11.2003
The Rules for Occupational Safety and Health on Construction Sites (RAB) reflect the state of the art with regard to safety and health protection on construction sites. They are drawn up by the Committee for Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites (ASGB) and are adapted by this Committee in accordance with developments.
The RAB rules are published by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour in the Federal Journal (Bundesarbeitsblatt BArbBl.).
The present document RAB 31 describes requirements regarding the content and form of a safety and health plan in accordance with the Ordinance on Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites (BaustellV).

(In the development of the RAB 31 the Committee for Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites (ASGB) had originally planned to add the Annex B containing examples of Safety and Health Plans to the RAB. However in drawing up and deciding examples it proved impossible to reach consensus with all members of the ASGB. Therefore, the ASGB did not and will not develop examples. Thus the Annex B is unnecessary.)
