Rules for Occupational Safety and Health on Construction Sites (RAB)

The Rules for Occupational Safety and Health on Construction Sites (Regeln zum Arbeitsschutz auf Baustellen, RAB) reflect the state of the art with regard to safety and health protection on construction sites.

They have been drawn up by the Committee for Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites (Ausschuss für Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz auf Baustellen, ASGB).

The Committee for Workplaces (Ausschuss für Arbeitsstätten, ASTA) will be responsible for advising the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales, BMAS) in future about all issues relating to occupational safety and health for employees on construction sites. It will consequently take charge of the revision and updating of the technical Rules for Occupational Safety and Health on Construction Sites.

These English translations of technical rules are inofficial versions. Mandatory are the current German versions.
