Time and performance pressure - Design options for workplaces

(in German)

Time and performance pressure are part of everyday working life for many employees – with potential consequences for health, motivation, and performance. This baua: Praxis guide helps companies to recognise the strain on their workforce caused by time and performance pressure at an early stage. It outlines ways to better manage time and performance pressure in the workplace in order to reduce excessive strain or prevent it from arising in the first place. It is aimed at everyone who shares responsibility for working conditions within an organisation – for example, managers, staff in human resources, occupational health management, or organisational development, occupational safety specialists, company physicians, or members of works councils, particularly in the service and knowledge work sectors.
