  • Project number: F 2276
  • Institution: Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA)
  • Status: Completed Project

Description:

The improvement of the work ability is - within the context of an ageing workforce - of increasing importance in occupational health. To assess the effectiveness of an intervention information about (determinants of) participation in these programmes is essential. The aim of the study is to investigate the utilization of a cognitive training intervention at the worksite and the compliance of the attendees to identify incentives and barriers employees face to program participation and to understand the characteristics of participants. Further insight may be beneficial to develop intervention programmes with the ability to reach many employees, including those who need it most and to increase the generalisability across all workers.
