The digital transformation taking place in the world of work is altering the conditions under which many employees do their jobs. It is leaders' and managers' duty to structure work processes, organise how individuals work together, and motivate, develop, and protect their staff. However, leadership and management activities themselves are being affected by digital change. This is why the working conditions of the people performing leadership and management tasks also deserve to be paid attention to.
This baua: Preprint analyses current job demands and resources, as well as the ways technology has been deployed by leaders and managers to date. Conclusions are then drawn for future research activities.
