Description:
Most of the important risk factors for chronically non-communicable diseases have been identified in the last three decades. The translation into action of this knowledge in the practice nevertheless still stands at the beginning. With respect to the diminution of the risk factors the duration of follow-up of the intervention successes is predominantly too short, the response rate of special courses to achieve behavioural changes are not satisfactory and the compliance to the prevention programs a considerable confounding factor for the judgment of the intervention effectiveness.
By imbedding a network of measures of different protagonists the prerequisites for successful implementation/translation into action of operational prevention measures which shall then be checked with respect to the diminution of the risk factors as well as the physical and economic consequences of the intervention shall be made.
