Description:
This project is to research the essential facts of medical check-ups for young people relating to their health and development before and during working life. Data is selected in the EU member states. This is to be contrasted with the German occupational health system for young people. This research project is to include Finnland, France, Italy, Netherland, Austria and Czech Republic plus Germany. Following subject areas should be analysed:
- Methods and effectiveness of the various types of medical examinations of the various countries

Systematic Review of existing research on the efficiency of such medical check-ups
- Existing Data on the state of health of young people relating to muscular-skeletal systems, allergic skin and respiratory diseases in addition to hearing ability
- Studies on the efficiency of such medical examinations
- Comparison of defining criteria and subjects by countries.
On this Basis recommendations should be compiled for an efficient creation of the medical check-ups which contain suggestions as young people can be better protected against interferences of their health and development.
