GS mark according to § 20 of the Product Safety Act (ProdSG)
Technical products and consumer products intended for sale within the European single market have to meet minimum requirements regarding safety and health.
No arrangements exist for the awarding of the CE marking to ready-to-use products in the non-harmonised area. However, the GS mark can still be awarded according to § 20 ProdSG. See also "Database GS bodies".
