Practical help of the Offensive Gutes Bauen supports construction companies and craft businesses
The Offensive Gutes Bauen is a national initiative where 120 renown organisations of the construction sector have merged. The objective is to increase the quality and efficiency of construction processes.
The Offensive Gutes Bauen supports building contractors, planners, construction and craft companies regarding the practical work through jointly developed instruments and standards. Furthermore, it is a communication platform for all persons involved in construction feeling obliged to the requirement to aim at a high quality in construction projects.
The Offensive Gutes Bauen visualises the similarities of the partners, converts them in specific instruments and standards, and promotes joint handling in the region.
The practical help of the Offensive Gutes Bauen describes the practice of successful companies and construction projects and translates scientific findings. It is a quality tool in more ways than one:
The Offensive Gutes Bauen is an independent network under the roof of the Initiative Neue Qualität der Arbeit (new quality of work) of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). The initiative has the objective of increasing the efficiency and quality of construction processes in Germany.
The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) has been participating in this network since 2004. Started under the name INQA-Netzwerk Baustelle, the Thematische Initiativkreis für die Bauwirtschaft (thematic initiative for the building sector) started its work in May 2004. In May 2005,the INQA-Netzwerk Baustelle developed further into the Initiative Neue Qualität des Bauens - INQA-Bauen. The activities were geared to network, to develop a joint understanding of quality, and to make available practical help for the specific implementation and cooperation. Today, the Offensive Gutes Bauen mainly works on establishing the use of this practical help.
Sponsored projects support the activities of the Offensive Gutes Bauen.
