Physical workload is part of everyday life and a key requirement if an individual is to stay healthy. The goal when configuring physical labour, however, is to ensure an optimum balance is achieved between an individual’s workload and their personal physical capabilities. Sustained overexertion, under-exertion and one-sided straining are to be avoided.
