Technical and organisational design and occupational provisions belong together.
The prevention of adverse health-related effects of psychic workloads comprises three aspects. From a technical point of view, planning and organisation must be focused on preventing overload and underload conditions. There is organisational leeway regarding working and deployment times. The occupational provisions are targeted to a personal prevention.

The model projects KoBRA, PAKT, and naprima funded by the BAuA shine a light on how prevention approaches can be implemented practically and designed sustainably from different perspectives. The joint project of the BAuA and the DGUV MEGAPHYS is part of the accompanying process of the Joint German Occupational Safety and Health Strategy (Gemeinsame Deutsche Arbeitsschutzstrategie - GDA). The objective of MEGAPHYS is to develop a coordinated method package regarding the risk assessment of physical workloads at different method levels, starting with rough screening via more differentiated screening methods through to measurement and laboratory examination in the company. The risk assessments can be used in order to derive measures for organising the work. The BAuA participates in developing statutory bases for occupational provisions regarding physical workloads.
