Employees are exposed to different physical factors at the workstation. Employer and employee will obtain information on requirements regarding the workstation climate, the legal situation, and possible protective measures for special climate conditions below.

During summer, the air temperatures at working spaces such as offices, stores, or workshops may increase to "disadvantageous" values causing employees to suffer from the heat. The consequences include reduced performance and motivation, fatigue and lacks of concentration, up to an increased emission of sweat and cardiovascular strains. Studies demonstrate a significantly increased risk of accidents.
