2. Occupational Health Regulation (AMR) 6.2 "Biomonitoring"

This rule provides doctors in particular with practical advice on the professional completion of biomonitoring. It is stated that in such cases, doctors operate on behalf of the employer, who is responsible for the organisation and costs of the biomonitoring.

3. Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV):

The Hazardous Substances Ordinance defines the term "biological limit value", and governs its application as per occupational safety and the person(s) exposed to hazardous substances. The biological limit values pursuant to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance play a key role in the evaluation of the measured results obtained in the scope of biomonitoring in accordance with the occupational medicine.
