Ready-to-use Products in the non-harmonised Area

GS mark according to § 20 of the Product Safety Act (ProdSG)

Technical products and consumer products intended for sale within the European single market have to meet minimum requirements regarding health and safety.

No arrangements exist for the awarding of the CE marking to ready-to-use products in the non-harmonised area. However, the GS mark can still be awarded according to § 20 ProdSG. The list of approved bodies as per § 20 ProdSG on 8 November 2011 (Federal Law Gazette, year 2011, part I, no. 57, issued in Bonn on 11 November 2011) is available on our German Website.
