BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey - Analysis and scientific utilization

Project number: F 2453 Institution: Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) Status: Ongoing Project Planned end: 2022-01-31

Description:

The aim of the project is to analyse the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2018 and the preceding comparable waves of the survey with regard to current challenges related to the world of work. Furthermore, the analyses allow drawing reliable conclusions about the specific distribution of working conditions and the connection of these with the health situation of employees. This also includes the results of analyses that offer a differentiated approach with regard to e.g. sector and specific groups of employed persons.
Specifically, the following three questions are considered:

  1. Which groups are exposed to particular risks at work?
  2. How do work demands, resources and health/work satisfaction of employees interact?
  3. How do working conditions change over time in relation to the health situation of employees?

In addition, this project aims to answer the question of the methodological and content-related comparability of the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey (2012, 2018) and the BAuA-Working Time Survey (2015, 2017).
