The aim of the joint research project is to setup hybrid teams consisting of humans and robots and to test these teams in an industrial setting. New forms of working systems require a human factors per-spective already in an early stage of development and testing.
For that reason, the aim of BAuA is to analyse the changes of working conditions in hybrid teams and further to asses and to design these conditions according to the criteria of humane work. In order to achieve this goal, different aspects are addressed which are relevant for a good interaction between humans and robots. These aspects include user acceptance, specific task design features as well as specific interaction parameters like speed or feedback.
Together with the technological developments, which are performed by the other partners, the ergonomic findings will be implemented and tested in two scenarios. The aim of BAuA here is to evaluate the hybrid teams from a human perspective. Further job design heuristics for modern human-robot-interactions will be developed, based on the two concrete analysed scenarios.
The research project Hybr-iT is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and is administrated by the DLR Project Management Agency (reference no. 01IS16026H).
