Multitasking and work interruptions can be considered as a high psychological workload. Whether human information processing capacity is sufficient for multitasking demands and whether work can be continued without effectiveness lost after work interruption/disturbances is controversial. Cognitive performance prerequisites for these phenomena will be studied in this project using neurophysiological approaches.
