Cooperations

Best solutions can be found through exchange and collaboration.

The work and research programme of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) offers numerous connecting points to achieve common objectives in cooperation with other institutions. Beside project-based cooperation, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is also involved interdisciplinary on national, European and international level.

Some areas of the current interdisciplinary cooperation of BAuA include:

  • Collaboration in occupational safety and health networks, notably the Partnership for European Research on Occupational Safety and Health (PEROSH), the Focal-Point-Network of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) as well as the Collaborating Centre of the World Health Organisation (WHO-CC)
  • Activities in committees and scientific societies, e.g. Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work (ACSH)
  • Cooperation with universities and research institutions, particularly in order to enhance the exchange of research and education of young researchers
  • Collaboration with European Institutions, e.g. European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)
