For regional transfer activities, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) in Dresden develops specially tailored content for the Central German region in order to transfer BAuA's specialist knowledge to industry.
As part of these efforts, it works in partnership with the health and safety administrations of the federal states, accident insurance organisations, health insurance funds, professional associations, employer and employee associations, trade associations, workplace health and safety stakeholders, and scientific institutions.
Collaboration with these partners makes it easier for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as selected regional industries, to design safe and healthy working conditions.
BAuA in Dresden provides information on current topics in occupational safety and health through a variety of channels, for example through the "Dresden Meeting for Occupational Safety and Health", which is held on almost 20 themed afternoons each year, through seminars, trade fairs and events, through workshops for entrepreneurs and managers in relation to preventive occupational safety and health, and through the specialist occupational safety and health library.
