The mobile "Food for Thought" ("ÜberLebensmittel" in German, literally meaning food for survival) exhibition from the German Federal Foundation for the Environment (DBU) invites you to go on a journey through the production of our food. A total of 16 interactive exhibits provide a glimpse behind the scenes into the worlds of both agriculture and supermarkets. The exhibition offers surprising things to discover, for example by looking through binoculars into a chicken coop, for instance, or in rubbish bins full of waste food. Those who are interested can also cultivate their own field or carry out a sustainability check. The exhibition offers its visitors a variety of good ideas regarding the daily shopping and some suggested recipes for a balanced diet.
