During this project, BAuA in cooperation with an international consortium will develop a draft OSH Code of Practice for safe handling of nanomaterial in laboratories. The code will be evaluated in field surveys and will be supplemented by a corresponding training concept. The objective is to create a sound basis for consistent standards regarding safe handling of nanomaterial in laboratory scale based on the EU precautionary principle.
