Description:

The aim of the project is the evaluation of the key indicator method for risk assessment in manual operation tasks. For this purpose, the method will be applied in 200 corresponding work places to analyse the physical workload. The results will be compared with the stress and strain perception, the complaints of shoulder/neck/arm, and the results of physical examination of the workers to analyse the relationship between load situation and work-related complaints. Consistency, reliability and validity are further aspects. As a result, the key indicator method Manual Handling Operations/Repetitive Work will be released for practical application.
