Music - Safe and Sound
In 2007 the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) arranged a European conference on hearing conservation in the music and entertainment sector. The meeting gave a platform for sharing points of view and ideas as well as for discussing problems and solutions. This publication comprises a collection of extended articles written by the experts who contributed to the BAuA conference. The scope of this collection covers crucial topics as: risks of hearing impairment, technical and organizational sound reduction for different branches, room acoustics, hearing protection and medical hearing care.
