Company doctors as moderators of quality circles and other for solving problems
This publication summarizes lectures and results of an one-day workshop on moderation of quality circles by company doctors. At first three experts informed on their experiences with occupational health related quality circles, peer-review-groups with medical practitioners and utilization of quality circles of the enterprises by company doctors. Subsequently the participants divided into three different circle groups. The participants decided by themselves on topics to be discussed. Moderators were the three experts. The subject was mainly practical demonstration of how to moderate and to learn something about methods used by moderators in company groups. Finally the company doctors evaluated the workshop by means of a questionnaire. They described it as important, informative and successful. Most of them showed that they were interested in becoming active in this field. In added comments they asked for opportunities for moderation training, exchange of experiences and special circles for supervision and quality assurance.
