Health management - an integrated programme of workplace health promotion and safety at the workplace
Health management - i.e. handling and linking all measures intended to preserve and promote health. What is the balance sheet for the practice to date of workplace health management? The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health organised a workshop on this subject in November 2000 in Berlin. After a brief introduction to the subject by the organiser, renowned experts from various areas of activity and professions presented their experience and discussed with the participants areas of responsibility and scope for action, as well as current development trends and desirable prospects. The contributors' papers have been published in a volume of the proceedings.
