Advisory Boards of the BAuA

The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is supported in the performance of its tasks by three advisory boards: the Board of Trustees (Curatorium), the Scientific Advisory Board and the DASA Advisory Board

The Board of Trustees (Curatorium)

The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is advised in all basic matters and with respect to its long-term specialist and scientific orientation by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees comprises 16 members from among the social partners and institutions who operate in the Federal Institute's area of work. The members are appointed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for a period of four years. Work on the Board of Trustees is performed on an honorary basis.

The Scientific Advisory Board

To provide specialist advice the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has a Scientific Advisory Board. The Board's main functions are quality assurance in research and development and networking with the scientific community.

DASA Advisory Board

To provide specialist advice in specific questions relating to the German Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has a DASA Advisory Board. The Board's main functions are to advise the President and DASA Director and to provide quality assurance in the exhibition domain.
